THE SOFTWARE

Now, letıs get into the software that is used. The control program of the converter is written on Delphi and works in Windows98 as mentioned above. With an interval of approximately 1 s, it measures the value of an analog signal on input +IN. The result of the measurement is displayed on the monitorıs screen (see Photo 1).

Furthermore, Iıd like to explain how the program code works. I assume youıve done some amount of programming before and have a basic understanding of hardware.

The program code is given in Listing 1 . I split the program into two relatively independent partsıthe actual input signal handler and the interface. This dividing is fully conditional and will allow you to better understand how the program works. Iıll take you through both separately.
