With a 500-MHz
Celeron processor, flat display, built-in speakers, CD-ROM or DVD
drive, the PPC-123T is designed for applications in medical
imaging, public information kiosks, industrial control systems, and
arcade games.

The PPC-123T is
about 3.5" deep. And, it runs Windows. The processor, up to 256
MB of SDRAM, floppy, and 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet built in. The unit
can swap its 12.1" LCD display for a resistive or capacitive
touchscreen.
The PPC-123T has
one parallel, one game, two PCMCIA, two USB, one infrared, mic in,
line in, line out, and four serial ports. There is an expansion slot
for PCI/ISA, 512-KB flash PROM, and a hard drive up to 10 GB. The
system is rated at 50,000 hours MTBF for the base system and 25,000
hours MTBF for the LCD backlight.
Including a hard,
floppy, and CD drive, the system is priced at $2945 in 100
quantities.
