Compact
Keyboard
The OIX 2000
compact computer keyboard saves 60% of the space required by standard
102-key keyboards without any loss of functionality. The keyboards
shrink size by compressing row spacing while leaving column spacing
virtually unchanged.
OIX retains all
keys found on an AT-enhanced, IBM-compatible keyboard (except for
the extra Enter key). Function, cursor, and number keys are clustered
above the main array. Individual keys feature full travel with tactile
feedback. The compact keyboards retain standard features and also
include the usual LED indicators.
An industrial
version of the compact keyboard is ideal for harsh environments where
contamination can impede key action. This industrial-grade keyboard
protects its key switches against grime and harmful vapors with an
internal dust cover. A clear plastic overlay is also available for
protection against liquids. A flat-tray industrial keyboard is available
for portable applications. With the additional of a metal mounting
strip, it is ideal for panel mounting.
