Microchip
PIC emulator
The ICEPIC-JNR-16
is the least expensive in-circuit emulator for Microchip PIC processors.
The system is based on a modular concept, which uses plug-in personality
daughterboards to configure the system for individual PICs. This concept
significantly reduces development time by allowing emulation of all
PIC 16C6xx, 16C7xx, and 16C8xx devices with a
single emulator system.

Providing a complete
Windows-integrated development environment, the ICEPIC-JNR-16 is a
non-intrusive, real-time in-circuit emulator capable of source level
debugging in assembler or C at maximum processor speeds. The emulator
features an integral Microchip emulation chip, 8K of 16Cxxx
emulation memory, and a high-speed RS-232 interface for communications
with a host computer at 57.6 Kbps.
Developers can
set an unlimited number of hardware trigger breakpoints on any range
of addresses. Processor speeds are user-selectable and the hardware
is fully compatible with Microchipıs software tools, including the
MPC C compiler.
A complete ICEPIC-JNR-16
system with daughterboard costs $550.
