Problem 2Draw a hybrid circuit using flip-flops and opamps that can produce the above waveform.


Answer:

A simple 3-stage ring counter can generate the two square waves "A" and "B" with the required phase relationship. These are added together by a simple analog summing amplifier, as shown below. The clock frequency must be 6× the desired output frequency.
