New ProductsOpen Frame Isolated DC/DC Converters

The ASDH series of open-frame, isolated, 5-, 7-, and 10-Watt DC/DC converters are designed to meet the needs of telecommunications and embedded system applications. Over 40 models are available with wide 4:1 input ranges of 9 to 36 VDC and 18 to 75 VDC with single and dual outputs from 3 to 15 VDC.

The ASDH series features a unique open-frame construction with an integral finned heat sink that permits operation over the temperature range of ý25 to 71ý C without additional cooling or derating. All models provide over voltage and continuous short circuit protection.

The ASDH series contain an internal input PI filter that eliminates the need for external components as well as an output inhibit/control pin for remote on/off control. These models feature standard package dimensions of 1” ý 2” ý 0.375” and standard pinouts for convenient PCB mounting on new and existing applications.

The ASDH series is priced from $15 to $29, depending on power level, in OEM quantities.
