Analog
Output Cards
ACCES I/O Products announces the addition
of two full-size, long-slot, analog output cards. Available with eight
or 16 channels as the PCI-DA12-8 and PCI-DA12-16, both
provide 12-bit double-buffered D/A converters, 24-bits of digital
I/O, and seven programmable output rangesý0ý2.5 V, ý2.5 V, 0ý5 V,
ý5 V, 0ý10 V, ý10 V and 4ý20 mA. The cards help safeguard smooth control-system
operation by limiting any output at start up to only 15% of full scale,
thus preventing spurious outputs from causing potentially harmful
results or costly errors.

The PCI-DA12 series features three 16-bit
down counters with prewired functions (frequency measurement/generation,
pulse-width generation, event counting); an external +5 VDC output
with 0.5-A self-resetting fuse; and 24 bits of digital I/O buffered
with tristateable transceivers. The cards are designed for use in
harsh industrial environments if 0ý60ýC and 5ý95% relative humidity
(non-condensing) and can be installed in any 5-V PCI bus long slot.
Both cards come with an extensive library
of utility software, including menu-driven setup programs, DOS drivers
and sample programs, Visual BASIC and Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98/NT
drivers, LabVIEW drivers, and other utilities.
The PCI-DA12-8 sells for $649
and the PCI-DA12-16 for $1199. Both products include software
and manual, a 30-day no-risk return policy, and a three-year warranty.
