PIC 5XX In-Circuit Emulator

The ICEPIC-JNR-5X is a single-board emulator for members of Microchipıs PIC12C5xx and PIC16C5xx families. The emulator offers PIC developers true real-time, non-intrusive emulation at 20 MHz. The emulator is designed to operate with Microchipıs MPLAB development environment and incorporates the enhanced software functionality available in OKWıs other ICEPIC emulator models.

Requiring just a 9-V power supply to begin operation, ICEPIC-JNR-5X is capable of source level debugging in assembler or C and provides a consistent, intuitive Windows-integrated environment. Designers can set an unlimited number of hardware breakpoints and configure real-time emulation of single-, multiple-, and procedure-step execution.

The emulator is compatible with PCıs running Windows 95/98/2000/NT and incorporates a Microchip emulation chip, 8-kB of on-board emulation memory, and an RS-232 interface capable of 115-kbps data rates. Processor speeds can be selected by the user and the emulator will work with Microchip software tools such as the MPC C compiler.

The ICEPIC-JNR-5X is priced at $375.
