New ProductsSurface Mount Photo IC Sensors

The EIC-3200 is the first series of photo IC sensors in surface mount packaging. These digital output detectors incorporate a photodiode with a signal processing circuit and are designed for use in bar code readers, medical applications, data transmission and a multitude of other applications such as process control systems, manufacturing and security systems. The EIC-3200 series has digital outputs, a wide temperature range and a wide operating voltage range.

The signal processing circuit in the series includes an amplifier, Schmitt Trigger and a voltage regulator. Operating temperature is between ý25 and 35ý C, with the operating supply voltage being between 4.5 and 17 V.

The EIC-3200 series comes in identical packages with various lead lengths. As with all of Elekonýs products, customization is available for customers who need to alter the product to fit their application.

Pricing for the EIC-3200 series starts at $1.58 each in quantities of 1000.
