PCI TO PC/104 ADAPTER

The PCI to ISA Adapter card in PC/104 format was designed so that developers of PCI-only PC/104-Plus boards can connect to the ISA bus. The adapter card acts as a bridge between their product and other boards implementing ISA.

The card eliminates the circuit boardıs need to maintain the legacy ISA bus, thus freeing board spaceıas much as 2-square inches. It allows PC/104-Plus board developers to use the PCI-only portion of the standard, yet maintains compatibility with ISA bus boards that are common throughout the world.

Itıs based on the PCI9052 chip by PLX Technology. The adapter board features PCI specification 2.1 compliance, an on-board serial EEPROM for storing configuration parameters, interrupt generator, separate power connector, and a generic driver. More extensive drivers can be developed using WINDriver, a product of KRFTech.

The PCI to ISA Adapter board is PC/104 form-factor compliant. It is compatible with all circuit board products designed with the PC/104-Plus specification (PCI only). When using the PC/104-Plus boards that implement PCI only, the adapter can be a bridge to make your systems compatible with existing PC/104 products that include the ISA bus.

The PCI to ISA Adapter card sells for $97 in quantities of 100.
