Automatic
Ringdown Unit
The QuickLink
private wire two-way automatic ringdown unit provides instant off-hook
access between two telsets or equivalents (fax, modem) in a tiny package
at a lower cost than any existing method. The new "hockey puck"
design replaces larger, more expensive, chassis/case or discrete component
solutions.
Powered from either
a 12-VAC wall adapter or 24- to 48-VDC supply, the device generates
its own battery feed and ringing supply with selectable cadences.
Standard models with differing feature sets cover most cost and technical
requirements; customized specifications are economic in small production
runs.
Monolithically
encapsulated units are stackable to conserve space or may be PCB-mounted
as a single component in OEM applications. In stand-alone use, it
becomes a traditional "hotline" device.
