Graphical Programming Package

SoftWlRE is a graphical programming package that combines speed with the flexibility and efficiency of writing code in an industry-standard language. Previously, programmers used either syntactical or graphical programming because it was difficult to use both for the same program. SoftWIRE uses both to create powerful programs.

SoftWlRE runs in standard environments, making program development simple. The functions are selected from a menu, and the objects are placed on the desired screen and then connected with drag-and-drop wires.

SoftWIRE supports ComputerBoards' measurement, control, and GPIB interfaces. Powerful DAQ control blocks support the functions. SoftWlREęs controls are integrated to allow programming at high levels.

SoftWIRE control blocks are COM/ActiveX compatible and are easily interfaced to Visual Basic programs. Hence, all control block parameters may be set via program control or with property page menus. Hard coding every block parameter with another icon or control block isnęt necessary. The programmer right clicks on any object and configures its operating parameters using its property page.
