Signal Monitor
Recording process signals is easy and
convenient with the SmartReader 7 Plus. Seven input channels
plus an internal thermistor make it ideal for monitoring (through
commercially available transducers) a variety of parameters. Applications
for the unit include: temperature monitoring, relative humidity, pressure,
wind speed, current, voltage, power, flow, tank levels, SCADA troubleshooting,
and more.

The self-powered logger features a 3.6-V
lithium battery and typically lasts 10 years. It has a 1.5-MB memory
capacity and sampling rates up to 25 per second. It accepts standard
channel inputs of 0 to 2.5, 5 and 10 VDC, 0 to 200 mv DC, and 0 to
25 mA DC, and features a removable screw terminal strip with common
negative connection. All process signals can be displayed in their
own engineering units using the equation editor in TrendReader Software
for Windows.
The palm-sized unit measures 4.2ð²
x 2.9ð² x 0.9ð² and weighs 5 oz. SmartReader is
designed for an environment from ę45ęC to 70ęC and is resistant to
X-rays. It meets FCC CFR Part 15 for digital devices.
