Next month, Iýll look at a number of
additional imaging applications. These will involve extracting information
from the image, such as finding edges, locating the center of a blob
of pixels, and determining the frequency components of an image. All
of these processes help you understand what is represented by the
image. They are still no match, however, for the visual power of the
eye and brain.
