New ProductsSINGLE BOARD COMPUTER

The SBC7401 is a network-ready, single-board computer that offers a flat-panel video interface, 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN interface, full audio, and four serial COM ports to support multiple point-of-sale (P0S) peripherals such as scanners, bar-code readers, modems, and printers.

The computer supports all Cyrix GXM CPUs such as the GXM-200 CPU (uses Cyrix CX5530 chipset) and its onboard video controller supports both conventional CRTs and flat-panel LCDs. Also supported are up to 128-MB RAM using one 168-pin DIMM, two PCI IDE hard disks and two 5.25" or 3.5" floppy disks. Interfacing consists of four serial ports (IrDA and RS-485 user selectable), one bidirectional parallel port, PC/AT compatible keyboard, and PS/2 mouse interface.

Other features include, AMI or AWARD flash BIOS, 16-bit PnP stereo sound, programmable watchdog timer, NE2000 compatible fast Ethernet LAN port (100/10 Mbps auto-switching) and built in status LED indicators. The SBC7401 incorporates a six-layer PCB for noise reduction (outside dimensions of 6.7" x 5.6"). Prices for the SBC7401 start at under $370 for 20+ pieces.
