THE REST OF THE PROJECT
After all of the caps are soldered, mount
and solder Q1, R8, R9, and R10. Use Photo 10 as a guide. When youýre
finished with the MCLR transistor and its resistors, install the 74LS125
and its bypass capacitor C15. You can install XTAL2, the 20-MHz resonator,
on either side of the printed circuit board. The center pin of XTAL2
is ground, and the outsides can go to either side of the center ground
pin.

|
| Photo 10ýBe sure to mount the
2N2222 and all of the surrounding resistors before soldering
the 44-pin PLCC socket. Some of the transistor is partially
hidden under the PLCC socket. |
