TIME TO KILL

You have some time to kill here, as the wood glue wonýt instantly bond your CS8900A-CQ into place. So, carefully line up the CS8900A-CQ on the printed circuit board pads and let it sit for a while. Be sure to properly align (and glue) the CS8900A-CQ as shown in Photo 2. A small dot denotes pin 1 on the 100-pin CS8900A-CQ pad layout.

Photo 2ýBe careful not to drop the CS8900A-CQ because its pins can misalign on impact.

The neat thing about using wood glue is that, until you solder an IC pin to a printed circuit board pad, the IC can be easily separated and placed in another position or on another printed circuit board without damage to the printed circuit board or the IC. And, you can leverage your investment in "silicon" glue to fix that leg on the dining room table!
