New ProductsFull-Duplex Transceiver Module

The EWM-900-FDTC ISM band transceiver module encapsulates a 900-MHz full-duplex audio/data transceiver into a single hybrid component. The only external RF component required is an antenna. No production tuning adjustments are required. No RF experience or special test equipment is needed.

The transceiver module operates in the 902-928 MHz unlicensed frequency band. In data mode, a pair of transceivers can send and receive data at rates up to 19.2 kbps over distances of up to 1000ý. In audio mode, a pair of transceivers can send and receive voice over distances up to 1500 feet. The transceiver is programmed using a simple serial interface. The modules are 1.22ý ý 0.83ý ý 0.4ý and can be assembled to the customerýs PCB using standard through-hole assembly techniques.

Samples are available and evaluation kits are in stock. The 1000-piece price is $32. Evaluation kits are available for $249.
