TCP/lP
Development Kit
The 2000 TCP/IP
Development Kit provides a hardware platform with a high-performance
8-bit microprocessor, CD software development package, and the tools
necessary to develop a robust 10baseT Ethernet application.

The microprocessor
is ready for software development. User programs are created using
Dynamic C, a software development environment that includes an editor,
compiler, and debugger. Programs are compiled and executed using Dynamic
C software and a programming cable; no in-circuit emulator is required.
The included development
board allows for evaluation and development of TCP/IP applications.
Executable code can be downloaded into Flash memory or optional battery-backed
RAM. Two communication ports are available, an RS-232 port and a factory
configurable port for either RS-485 or RS-232. Other features include
four high-current outputs, four digital inputs, seven timers, a real-time
battery-backed clock, and 10baseT Ethernet interface.
Full TCP/IP source
code is provided. ICMP, HTTP (includes facilities for SSI and CGI
routines), SMTP, FTP, and TFTP (client and server) capabilities are
provided. Ethernet drivers for the RealTek NE2000 chip set are also
included. Users can directly write to TCP or UDP sockets to develop
custom applications. A PC serial cable for real-time debugging comes
with the package. The development kit costs $199.
