Digital modulation techniques using a quadrature modulator

In wireless systems, we need precise control over the transmitted waveform to meet FCC requirements and to make the best use of the spectrum. A quadrature modulator is a general-purpose modulator that allows you to control every aspect of the transmitted waveform. It's possible to generate any modulation using this architecture, and you can employ common low-frequency DSP techniques to generate the controlling waveforms.
