Digital Modulation Using a Quadrature Modulator for 4-Level and Multitone FSK

In a recent column, I described how to use a quadrature modulator to generate quiet carriers at several frequencies. Then that column examined what's needed to generate a frequency-shift keyed (FSK) data signal. This time I'll extend the concept to include m-ary FSK and multitone FSK.
