Barry's Bio

Barry Henderson is employed as a Senior Design Engineer by BeamReach Networks, performing research, design and development of complex FPGA based signal processing hardware, applied to advanced wireless communication system applications. His new company web site is: www.beamreachnetworks.com.

Barry earned his Ph.D. developing a novel real-time image processing system employing analog and digital hardware for a robot camera application, and he has performed postgraduate research in novel algorithms development and simulation for digital communications employing high-performance DSP.

In recent years, Barry has developed Motion Vector and Image recognition software, modern boat radar with DSP and FPGA, and has worked with high-speed mixed-signal board design. Barry has also worked in Singapore as a product design consultant specializing in FPGA/ASIC/DSP systems for audio, video, radar and communications. Barry is also interested in high-tech DSP, image and video processing, parallel processing, ASICs, and reconfigurable logic design.
