Scott Matthews is the Research Director of the Green Design Initiative and a Research Faculty member in the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His research, teaching, and consulting activities are in the interdisciplinary fields of systems engineering, benefit-cost analysis, environmental management, and the socio-economic implications of information technology. Scott also teaches a popular course in "Information Warfare" in the College of Engineering.
