Reduce capacitor cost of DDR memory power supplies with fastest transient response DC-DC
Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX1917, which generates DDR memory termination voltages (VTT and VTTR) within 1% of 0.5VDDQ for use in servers, notebooks, and desktop computers. It uses a unique Quick-PWMý architecture for the fastest transient response with the smallest output capacitors, saving cost and space. (ChipCenter: WebScan)
STMicroelectronics introduces world's first DSP system memory
STMicroelectronics introduced the world's first DSP System Memory (DSM) device. Developed in conjunction with Analog Devices, the DSM2180F3 integrates a large Flash memory, a PLD (Programmable Logic Device) block, I/O ports and essential interface and logic functions, which together provide a complete system memory solution for the Analog Devices ADSP-218x family of DSPs.
