Altera Forms IP Unit

Highlighting the importance of reusable cores for designing ever-denser programmable logic devices, Altera Corp. announced it has formed a business unit to manage its library of intellectual property "megafunctions." Altera's Megafunction Partner Program (AMPP) and MegaCore development activities will be folded into the new IP business unit.
